Lecture as part of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, featuring  Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Alessandro Lovari (University of Cagliari), and Sandra Cavallo (European Commission - DG ECHO).

The guests will explore the role of European institutional communication in crisis situations and how Europe responds to current challenges.

The lecture is scheduled for April 10, 2025 from 2 p.m. in room B2 of the Luigi Einaudi Campus at the University of Turin.

Lecture 12 a.y 24/25 - "Real Europe, Perceived Europe: Innovation, Defense, Strategic Autonomy" (04/10/2025).  

Lecture as part of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, featuring  Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Massimo Gaudina (European Training Foundation), and Paola Lo Bue Oddo (European Commission - DG DEFIS).

The guests will explain the current state of the EU and how it is perceived, at a crucial time for tackling global challenges in the fields of innovation, defense, and strategic autonomy.

Lecture 11 a.y 24/25 - "Defining Civic Participation in the EU: Lobbying, Advocacy, and Civic Engagement" (04/03/2025).    

Lecture as part of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, featuring  Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Marta Fornacini (University of Turin) , and representatives of three Italian third-sector organizations - 20&30, Give Back Giovani Aree Interne and The Good Lobby Italia.

The guests will present the activities carried out in the fields of civic engagement, lobbying, and advocacy, focusing on the involvement of young people and encouraging their active participation in public life.

Lecture 10 a.y 24/25 - Trustworthy Public Communications (03/28/2025).    

Lecture as part of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, featuring  Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Mario Scharfbillig (European Commission - Joint Research Centre), and Sara Pane (Sapienza University of Rome - University of Turin).

The guests will discuss how Public Communication can play a key role in strengthening democracy by increasing citizens' trust in institutions.

The lecture is scheduled for March 28, 2025 from 2 p.m. in room B2 of the Luigi Einaudi Campus at the University of Turin.

Lecture 7 a.y 24/25 - How to communicate Europe when everything changes (03/20/2025).

Lecture as part of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, featuring Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Alessandro Giordani (European Commission - DG Comm), and Alba Garavet (Europe Direct - Metropolitan City of Turin).

The guests will talk about European public-institutional communication at a time of important challenges and transitions.

The lecture is scheduled for March 20, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. in room B2 of the Luigi Einaudi Campus at the University of Turin.

Lectures 4, 9, 20   a.y 24/25 - Citizen - Dataset Lab.

Citizen - Dataset Lab is a course offered within the framework of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, aimed at exploring the issue of disinformation in the current European context.

The laboratory is divided into three sessions, which will take place in room B2 of the Luigi Einaudi Campus at the University of Turin from 2 to 5 p.m. on the following dates:

• Friday, February 28, 2025

• Thursday, March 27, 2025

• Friday, May 9, 2025

The laboratory will feature speakers Marinella Belluati (University of Turin) and Marco Stranisci (Aequa-tech).

Lecture 1 a.y 24/25 - The EU Budget between Numbers and Policies (02/20/2025).

Inaugural Lectio of the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, with the participation of Marinella Belluati (University of Turin), Ilda Curti (University of Turin) and Daniele Viotti (President of Europa Aperta). 

The speakers discussed the priorities, policies and budget of the European Union. 

The lecture was held on February 20, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. in room B2 of the Luigi Einaudi Campus at the University of Turin.
