The Com4T.EU Chair will organize several public activities and participation in related events during the project period, which will be announced through traditional communication and social channels.
The communication and dissemination activities of Com4T.EU are oriented towards defining a legacy to be extended beyond the project. To achieve this, the Com4T.EU Chair will promote cooperation with local sector entities focusing on public involvement.
From March 31 to April 4, 2025, the new edition of the Italy-France Cross-Border Dialogues will take place, a project funded by the European Commission involving 9 Europe Direct centers and young people from Piemonte and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The first 3 days will be held in Turin, and the last 2 in Lyon.
The initiative aims to reflect on the priorities of the European Union, encourage dialogue with local authorities, and enhance the communication and language skills of the participants.
On April 1, during the plenary session in Turin, Marinella Belluati addressed the theme "Communicating the transition, participating in the challenges," sparking a dialogue with young people on how to face change through communication.
Com4T.EU participated in the first day of the Interreg GO! event organized on March 27 and 28 in the cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica. The event aims to present the results of public consultations that involved 15,000 citizens and stakeholders on the topic of the European Multiannual Financial Framework 2027-2034.
The topics addressed included border security, migration, environment, disaster prevention, and cooperation with EU candidate and neighboring countries.
Among the speakers: Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice President of the European Commission; Marta Kos, EU Commissioner for Enlargement; Aleksander Jevšek, Minister for Cohesion and Regional Development of Slovenia; Massimiliano Fedriga, President of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
On 17 March 2025, at the Teatro Regio in Turin, the opening ceremony of the 2024/2025 academic year of the University of Turin was held under the title “University and European citizenship - knowledge as a bridge to the future”.
The leitmotif of the speeches was the importance of enhancing European citizenship in the academic context, through mobility projects, as a fundamental tool for strengthening European integration. The aim is to turn knowledge into an essential tool to face future challenges, overcome cultural differences and promote a more united and cohesive society.
On February 19, 2024, the Jean Monnet Chair Com4T.EU participated in the seminar “Le sfide del dialogo oggi - Democrazia e partecipazione. Comunicare, (in)formare oggi” organized by the Diocese of Cuneo-Fossano.
The seminar was the opportunity to discuss the challenges facing democracy today, around the themes of participation, communication and information.

On Monday, February 17, from 12 p.m., the event “AI in the European Public Space” was held, at the Sala Lauree Rossa on the Campus Luigi Einaudi.
The event was organized by the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair in partnership with AI Debating, CPP (Comunicazione Pubblica e Politica) and TO-EU (Centro Studi sull'Europa).
The event was an opportunity to inaugurate the new academic year for the master's degree program Comunicazione Pubblica e Politica.
The MagIA Magazine dedicated to artificial intelligence was presented during the event.
On Saturday, February 15, from 3 p.m., at the Europa Experience - David Sassoli space in Rome, the Call to Action “La partecipazione dei giovani nelle aree interne” was presented.
The event was organized by the Give Back Giovani Aree Interne APS Association in partnership with the Jean Monnet Com4T.EU Chair, which contributed to the creation of the Call to Actions itself.

Com4T.EU participated in the second workshop of the Shape Torino project, which took place in Turin on February 8, 2025, organized by Visionary in partnership with GenZNow.
The project aims to create a youth council of individuals under 20, which will support the Youth Policy Department of the City of Turin. This group of 40 young people will help define local initiatives, bringing their voices and ideas to the table.
The workshop was an opportunity to provide participants with the tools needed to develop concrete proposals in the fields of policy making and active citizenship.

On February 6, 2024, the Jean Monnet Chair Com4T.EU participated in the seminar “Transizione digitale della PA, AI e Comunicazione pubblica” organized by the Ph.D program in Humanistic Studies at the University of Urbino, within the Digital Communication and Culture curriculum.
The seminar was an opportunity for young researchers to present their ongoing work on the digital transition of public administration and the impact of AI on public communication and organizational culture.

On December 5 and 6, 2024, the Jean Monnet Chair Com4T.EU participated in the plenary session of the Club of Venice, an informal forum that brings together the heads of institutional communication from EU member states.
The discussions focused on communication strategies to enhance citizen trust, addressing key issues such as disinformation, the fight against climate change, and transparency policies regarding artificial intelligence.
Com4T.EU participated in the Policy Lab organized in Turin on November 28 and 29, by 20e30 and The Good Lobby Italia.

On Tuesday, May 28th, at 2:30 pm, in the Panoramic Hall of the Metropolitan City of Turin, Alba Garavet (University of Turin, Europe Direct Turin) gave the final lecture of the Laboratory on EU Cohesion Policies and communication strategies for territories.

AI in action, the cycle of meetings on Artificial Intelligence, started on March 7, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the University of Turin (Aula magna - Campus Luigi Einaudi).
The initiative was organized by the student representative list “Obiettivo Studenti”, funded by the University of Turin and sponsored by the three departments on the Campus Luigi Einaudi: Law; Culture, Politics and Society; and Economics and Statistics.

The event provided an opportunity to present the activities of Com4T.EU, which focuses on the role of institutional and public communication in relation to European Union issues.
Com4T.EU participated in the international conference "Public sphere in Europe between communication and disinformation" organized by the Department of Political Science at the University of Catania on February 1st and 2nd, 2024.
The conference, part of the project "Post-truth politics and the resilience of the public sphere in Europe (POPSPHERE)", provided an opportunity to examine the responses of European communication policies to post-truth politics, taking into account the risks of disinformation and emerging communication practices in the European Union's public sphere.
"Rural Youth For EU: Towards The Next European Elections" was a seminary co-organised by the Jean Monnet Chair Com4T.EU, Give Back Giovani Aree Interne, the European Parliament Representation in Italy and the Europe Direct Centre ROMA TRE. It took place on January 27th from 3pm to 5 pm at Europe-Experience David Sassoli in Rome (Roma, P.zza Venezia 6c).
The seminar was the occasion to discuss about youth, participation and Europe with a particular focus on the European elections 2024.
MEPs, scholars, and representatives from the Third Sector and civil society participated in the event, which aimed to define a call to action to promote youth civic engagement in rural and marginalized areas, to be subsequently presented to policymakers.
